Planned Downtime and New Name Server Information

Hi,

If you are hosted on servers CP1, CP2, CP3 or CP4 this e-mail does concern you.

On Sunday 25th September there will be downtime for accounts hosted on CP1 and CP3 as the servers are being replaced.
The spec's of the new servers are: Centos 4.1, Pentium 4 2.8GHz HT, 2GB RAM & 120GB HD.
Downtime may range from 6 to 12 hours. Live chat support will be available via our website if you would like to get an update on the progress of the move.

The server changes include the changing of IP addresses which also affect the name servers.
All DNS records have been set to expire after 5 minutes. This means ISP's will not cache the record and your site can be back online within minutes of being transferred to the new server.

The new servers will be ready to take on new accounts by the end of today, so if you wish to be moved before Sunday please let us know.


New Name Server Information:

If you are using custom name servers, you must update the IP addresses of them before September 30th.
Changing them will not result in any downtime.
If we have set custom one's for you, please contact us so they can be updated.
